  • Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm

    Arrival at Stockholm Arlanda International Airport. Get a transfer to Hotel. There are different ways of transportation from Arlanda. Arlanda Express, the high-speed direct train between Stockholm and the airport, is the fastest way to commute between the airport and the central city. The train departs every 15 minutes from the airport, and it is very easy to locate the train station once you leave the airport after final checking in the passport control section. The train takes only 20 minutes to commute between the Arlanda Airport and the Stockholm Central Station. The Arlanda Express Train is the most convenient, economical and faster way to commute between Arlanda Airport and Stockholm City.

  • Day 2: Stockholm City Exploration

    Welcome to Stockholm, the Royal Capital of Sweden!

  • Day 3: Stockholm Grand Tour

  • Day 4: Stockholm to Malmö

    After breakfast, head towards Stockholm Central Railway Station. SJ Rail operates several trains daily to/from Stockholm and serves many other central and south Sweden intermediary stations. Hop on to your scheduled train (buy your tickets online before your journey for easy availability) and relax and enjoy the scenic beauty as your train passes by the Swedish Countryside. By afternoon you should reach Malmö. Spend the rest of the day leisurely. Most of Malmö’s sight can be easily reachable by walking. However, buying a 24 hrs or 72 hrs public transport pass is recommended, which will provide easy access to explore the city thoroughly. Overnight stay in Malmö.

  • Day 5: Malmö City Exploration

    Sweden’s third largest city Malmø is the largest city in the Skåne region. Skåne, which once belonged to Denmark, is Sweden’s southernmost region today, characterised by endless open fields, wide, flat horizons, and magnificent castles from various eras. Malmö is a place where the old meets the new.

    Malmö has its historic castles and a beautiful historic and showpiece town square in the heart of Gamla Staden. This vibrant town square is where anyone would love to sit, relax and drink coffee in one of the many restaurants on the three squares, Stortorget, Lilla Torgi and Gustav Adolf’s Torget or take a stroll through the king’s park and visit the Malmö Castle.

    Malmö´s most remarkable landmark is the neo-futurist residential skyscraper, the tallest building in Scandinavia.

    The city’s major sights are all within easy strolling distance of the city centre. You can start from Lilla Torg Square and take free guided walking or cycling tour. Just make your enquiries in the Tourist Information Centre. The major sights in Malmö are Gamla Staden, Västra Hamnen, Malmö Museer, King’s Park, Malmö Chocolate Museum, Teknikens och Sjöfartens Hus or Technology and Maritime Museum Malmö, Form/Design Center, Malmö Konssthall and Turning Torso.

  • Day 6: Malmö to Gothenburg

    After breakfast, in the morning, you can stroll around the city one more time and enjoy some local Fika. Afternoon check-out from the hotel at the scheduled time and head towards the railway station. Hop onto your scheduled train; it will take two and a half hours or a little more to reach Gothenburg. Spend the evening leisurely. Overnight stay in Gothenburg.

  • Day 7: Gothenburg City Exploration

    Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city and largest harbour, has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The city is very walkable. The city has appealing and chilled-out attractions for tourists and locals. Its Neoclassical Architecture, Tram Lines, sun-soaked broad harbour, and lovely locals sun themselves alongside the canals make this city nice, good-looking and cheerful. The city is an upcoming break destination for culture, shopping, entertainment, food, and drink. Gothenburg has gained an international reputation for innovative cuisine using local produce, mainly north Atlantic fish and shellfish. The city boasts several Michelin Guide restaurants, which you should not miss when you visit.

    Centrally located in Gothenburg, you will find Liseberg, Northern Europe’s largest and most beautiful amusement park and one of Sweden’s most popular attractions. Also recommended is a sightseeing tour by bus or the Paddan open-top sightseeing boats. Recommended sightseeings are:

  • Day 8: Gothenburg to Kiruna - Overnight Arctic Train Journey

    After breakfast, you will start early today. You have a long train journey to Kiruna. You will have to change your train at Stockholm Central Station. From Stockholm Central Station to Kiruna overnight train journey. Hop onboard your scheduled arctic train and enjoy one of your life’s most relaxing train journeys. As you travel during Summertime, you can glue your cheeks to the train window to see the golden horizon with never setting smiling sun.

  • Day 9: Morning Arrival in Kiruna

    The train has a restaurant where you can buy breakfast. As you end your breakfast train will slowly approach Kiruna Station. Our representative will greet you at Kiruna station. Get transferred to the Kiruna Hotel.

    Welcome to Jukkasjärvi Ice Hotel. During summer and fall, only the reception in the Riverside Lobby next to the cold accommodation is in use.

    You will have a guided check-in tour at ICEHOTEL Kiruna. You will attend the guided check-in tour, where the guide will provide you with information about your overnight stay and the history of the Ice Hotel.   • Day 10: Kiruna City Exploration

    Kiruna is a far northern city in Swedish Lapland. The city was first established in 1890 to serve the Kiruna Mine. Archaeological findings show that the city and the surrounding areas are almost 6000 years old and have been inhabited since then. Due to the huge iron ore mining, the old city is almost on the verge of collapsing into an enormous iron ore pit. Fortunately, a solution is underway, a proposed new city is coming up in the nearby safe location, and the new city will be completely operational from 2033. One can visit the tourist information centre to see what the new city will look like. There are buses to the small town of Kiruna, which take approximately 30 minutes each way. You can find timetables at the reception of the Ice Hotel and the bus stops. Please remember to check when the return bus leaves. Alternatively, you can take a taxi. In Kiruna, you can visit Kiruna Kyrka, Consecrated in 1913, which looks pretty against the snowy backdrop in winter, and in summer, it looks bright with the lights of the midnight sun.

  • Day 11: Kiruna Midnight Sun Tour

    In Northern Scandinavia, you can experience something wonderful during the summer months. From May to July, the sun never sets above the Arctic Circle (and first rather late in August). This part of the world is referred to as the Land of the Midnight Sun. The sun sparks to life and burns for 100 days and nights without setting, melting snow and ice and transforming the countryside into a vibrant green. The nights are as bright as the days. Welcome to experience summer in Lapland! You can book your midnight summer tour before or at the hotel reception. At night, enjoy a long drive in the wild, secluded Swedish Lapland with a night hike under the bright midnight sunlights and enjoy your lingonberry juice along with your fellow teammates.

  • Day 12: Overnight Arctic Train Journey

    After breakfast, pick up from Kiruna Ice Hotel and drop off at Kiruna Rail Station. The transfer will correspond with the train departure.

  • Day 13: Morning Arrival in Stockholm

    You can buy tea, coffee or snacks in the train’s restaurant in the morning. Get transferred to the hotel from Stockholm Central Station. Spend the day leisurely. Your train trip to Sweden ends here. Overnight stay in Stockholm.

  • Day 14: Rest Day in Stockholm

    Spend the day leisurely. You can go shopping and purchase souvenirs. The Gamla Stan is a beautiful place to buy souvenirs for your loved ones. There are a lot of local restaurants, and you can enjoy savouring local Swedish dishes in any of them. Take a stroll around the city and back to your den by evening. Overnight stay in Stockholm.

  • Day 15: Departure

    It is time to say goodbye to this beautiful country. You can take the High-Speed Arlanda Express to transfer to Arlanda International Airport to continue your onward journey.
