  • Day 1: Arrival at Leh

Arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh at 3100 meters altitude. KBR Airport is among the world’s highest and most beautiful airports, surrounded by high Himalayan ranges. One gets a beautiful snow-clad mountain range view from the plane, a unique and whole new experience for anyone visiting Leh Ladakh. Our representative will meet you at the Airport and transport you to your hotel. After reaching the hotel, rest is important since you have reached an area with very low oxygen levels, and acclimatisation is necessary. You will spend the whole day at the hotel, and you can take a short walk around in the evening.

    Meals Included: Welcome Dinner.

  • Day 2: Exploring Leh

Today, you will visit a few monasteries and palaces after breakfast. Start from the hotel and drive to Leh. On the way, you visit Shey palace, which used to be the summer capital of the kingdom of Ladakh. You will visit Thiksey monastery, built on the Potala palace plan in Tibet. And the largest monastery in Ladakh – Hemis Monastery, with its museum. You will visit the Stok Palace, the current royal family’s home. Then return to your hotel and spend the evening enjoying the views.

    Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner.

  • Day 3: Leh to Diskit

Today, you will travel over Khardung La Pass, at 18000 feet, to the Nubra river valley. The team will stop only for a few photos on the high pass to avoid discomfort due to less oxygen. As you descend into the valley, the terrain changes with greener villages. Visit the Diskit monastery, which boasts the highest statue of Buddha in the valley. Stop at Hunder, 11 km from Diskit, for a double-humped camel ride. Enjoy the exciting camel ride and take plenty of photos for your travel stories. It is a beautiful village; you will stay in a tented resort. Walk around in the evening before dinner. Today the drive will be 5 hours to Diskit.

    Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner.

  • Day 4: Visiting Pangong Lake

Start early after breakfast today and continue on the Shayok river road towards Pangong Lake. Visit the serene lake, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this lake and walk around the lake. Lunch in some local restaurant by the lake. Pangong lake is at more height than Leh, and due to its vast open area, there is a lot of wind which tends to decrease the temperature. There is more chance of getting altitude sickness, so returning to Leh early in the season is advised. The drive from Pangong to Leh will be 4 hours. You will return to your hotel for a hot cup of evening tea.

    Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner.

  • Day 5: Shopping Day

Today, drive towards Leh city and Sham valley. Visit the Hall of Fame museum, Pathersahib Gurudwara, Sangam of Indus and Zanskar rivers, Magnetic hill and return to Leh. You will be dropped in the market area today to explore and shop. Ladakh is famous for producing the finest pashmina thread in the world. Many handmade pashmina shawls, stoles, and woollen items are made here. Besides these, locally harvested dry fruits and fresh apricots are also available. There are stalls for metalwork, trinkets etc., brought by the Tibetan refugee community and intricate Kashmiri items. After the shopping trip, you can have tea and snacks in one of many cafes in the market area and head back to the hotel for the night.

    Meals Included: Breakfast and Dinner.

  • Day 6: Departure

Early morning, get ready and drop at Airport for your departure.
