Day 1: Arrival at Amman Airport – Transfer to Amman Hotel

Greetings and welcome to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the heart of the Middle East! Upon your arrival at Amman Airport, our representative will be available to assist you through immigration and customs. Once you have collected your luggage and passed through customs, a private transfer will take you to your hotel in Amman, which is approximately a 50-minute ride. You can take this time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic view as you make your way to the hotel. Once you arrive, you can unwind and enjoy your first evening at leisure in Jordan’s vibrant capital. Your Jordan trip begins now, and we hope you have a wonderful time!

Day 2: Amman – Jerash – Amman City Tour
Today’s Private Tour to Jordan starts with a drive to Jerash, the best-preserved Roman provincial city in the Middle East. Explore ancient ruins like the Hippodrome and the Forum. Return to Amman to tour the city’s historical sites, including the Citadel and the Roman Theatre. Stroll through the bustling Souq and Rainbow Street.
On the second day of your private tour to Jordan, you will begin by driving to Jerash to explore ancient ruins such as the Hippodrome and the Forum. Jerash has located about 50 km from Amman and is the best-preserved Roman provincial city in the Middle East. You will also see the Roman collonaded street, the Nymphaeum, the Temple of Artemis, and the North Theatre. After exploring the ruins on your own, you will head back to Amman, the bustling capital of Jordan. Although Rabbat Ammon is already mentioned in the Bible, the city is modern, with only a few ancient attractions that we will visit today.
Once in Amman, you will visit Citadel Hill, which has remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period and a small Archaeological Museum. You will also see the Roman Theatre from the 2nd century, which has 6,000 seats. From there, you will stroll through the vibrant Souq with its different shops and stalls. Finally, you will visit Rainbow Street in Jabal Amman, which has the charm of early 20th-century houses, cafes, and restaurants.
As the day ends, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Amman.

Day 3: Day Trip to Jerusalem via Allenby Bridge
Embark on a highlight of your Jordan with Jerusalem Tour, crossing the Allenby Bridge early in the morning to Jerusalem. Visit sacred sites such as the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Church of All Nations. Tour the old city, viewing the Wailing Wall, and, if accessible, ascend to the Temple Mount.
Our driver will pick you up from the Amman hotel lobby at 7:00 a.m. and drive you to the Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Border to leave Jordan. At the Israeli border terminal, your tour guide will welcome you, and you will then be driven via the Judean desert to the Holy City of Jerusalem.
We will begin with a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives and then walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. In the old city, we will view the Wailing Wall, which represents the last remnants of the Jewish Temple that was destroyed by the Romans. If open to visitors, we will ascend to the Temple Mount to see the famous Dome of the Rock. Then, we will continue to the Via Dolorosa, which leads us to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus Christ was crucified and buried. We will drive back to Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Border in the afternoon to enter Jordan again. Our representative will welcome you back and transfer you to your Amman hotel.

Day 4: Amman – Mt Nebo – Madaba – King’s Way – Kerak Castle – Petra
Today, travel from Amman along the historical King’s Way. Visit Mt Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land and the mosaic city of Madaba. Continue to Kerak Castle before arriving in Petra. This route encapsulates the essence of your Jordan Jerusalem Cultural Tour.
On Day 4 of your trip, you will embark on a several-hour scenic tour. Your driver will take you to Mount Nebo, where you can enjoy an incredible view of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land. According to the Bible, this is the place where Moses was able to see the Promised Land before he passed away and is rumoured to be his resting place.
From there, you will head to Madaba, which is known as the “City of Mosaic” in Jordan. Here, you can see the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land at St. George’s Church. After that, you will travel along the ancient caravan route of the King’s Way and make a brief photo stop at Wadi Al Mujib, a wide valley with stunning geological formations similar to the Arnon River in the Hebrew Bible.
Your next stop will be at the remains of the Crusader castle Kerak, where you can explore the underground passageways, admire the view, and imagine how the forces of Salah ad-Din besieged this stronghold several times. Finally, you will drive for 2 hours to your hotel in Petra for check-in and a leisurely evening.

Day 5: Explore Petra
Discover Petra, a cornerstone of your 7 Day Jordan Itinerary. Tour the ancient city from the Siq to the iconic Treasury, and see the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. Petra’s archaeological wonders offer a deep dive into Jordan’s Nabataean past.
Today, you can visit the highlight of Jordan, which is the red-rose city of Petra! You can start your day as early as 06:00, but if you are an early bird, don’t forget to ask the hotel for a breakfast box the day before. Petra is Jordan’s top attraction and was founded around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs. Initially, they were nomadic, but they developed agriculture techniques and became successful traders. To reach the most beautiful monument, the Treasury, you must pass the narrow canyon, also known as the Siq, which is made of colourful sandstone. After that, continue your journey through the Street of Facades to reach the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. Return along the same trail to the main gate and then back to the hotel. You will be staying overnight in Petra.

Day 6: Petra – Baptism Site – Dead Sea
Journey to the Baptism Site, a pivotal part of the Baptism Site Jordan Tour, where John the Baptist baptised Jesus Christ. Then, travel to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon at this natural wonder, known for its buoyant waters and mineral-rich mud.
We will drive for three hours to reach the Baptism Site, known as Bethany, located beyond the Jordan River. This is the place where Jesus Christ was baptised by John the Baptist. You can see the remains of monasteries, churches, and baptism pools here. After that, we will check into our hotel located at the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is a natural wonder and a superlative as it is the lowest point on earth. The area is characterised by high temperatures, oxygen-rich air, and high atmospheric pressure, which weaken UV rays. You can enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the beach, floating on salty waters or covering your skin with the famous mud from the shores.

Day 7: Dead Sea – Departure from Amman Airport
At the end of your Amman Petra Jerusalem Travel Package, we will transfer you to Amman Airport. Take some time to reflect on the amazing experiences you’ve had during your week-long journey. We will pick you up from your hotel lobby at the scheduled time, and the drive to Amman Airport should take approximately an hour.

- Entry ticket in Petra includes a 700 meters horse ride in Petra from the main gate to the beginning of the Siq (not mandatory, horse handler expects a tip of 5 JOD per horse).
