Day 2: Amman Hotel – Amman City Tour – Ma’in Hot Springs – Amman Hotel
Today, let’s explore Amman, the bustling capital of Jordan. Although the city was already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbat Ammon, it is modern with only a few ancient attractions that we will visit today. We will start by heading downtown to explore Citadel hill, which has remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period and a small Archaeological Museum. After that, we will visit the opposite Roman Theatre from the 2nd century, which has 6,000 seats. From here, we will take a leisurely stroll along the vibrant Souq, with its different shops and stalls. We will stop in Jabal Amman at Rainbow Street, with its charming early 20th-century houses, cafes, and restaurants. Then, we will travel for an hour to the hot springs of Ma’in. These springs and the waterfall, located 264 meters below sea level, are fed by winter rainfalls and heated by underground lava fissures up to 63°C. We will simply relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our overnight stay will be in Amman.

Day 3: Amman Hotel - Mt Nebo - King’s Way - Kerak Castle – Little Petra - Petra Hotel
Today, we will embark on a journey along the scenic King’s Way to Petra. The first stop will be at Mt. Nebo, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land. According to the Bible, this is the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land before he died, and it is also believed to be his burial place.
Afterwards, we will travel along the famous ancient caravan route of the King’s Way and make a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib. This is a wide valley with magnificent geological formations, identical to the Arnon River of the Hebrew Bible.
Next, we will visit the remains of the Crusader castle in Kerak. You will have the opportunity to explore the underground passageways, enjoy the view, and imagine how the forces of Salah ad-Din besieged this stronghold several times.
Before arriving at your hotel in Petra, we will stop at Little Petra. Here, you can explore small sandstone temples and tombs, which will prepare you for your visit tomorrow.
Upon arrival at the hotel, you can check in and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Day 4: Petra Hotel - Petra Visit - Wadi Rum Camp
Today, we will visit Petra, a spectacular rose-rock city that is one of the World’s New Seven Wonders. Please note that the terrain is uneven, so be sure to prepare yourself accordingly. Petra is the biggest attraction in Jordan and was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabatean Arabs. These nomadic people settled in the area and created a commercial empire that extended into Syria.
We will begin by walking to the canyon known as the Siq. At the canyon’s end, you will see the most beautiful monument in Petra: the Treasury. This building rises over 40 meters and is carved into sandstone, much like most of Petra’s architecture. After seeing the Treasury, we will continue along the Street of Facades, passing by the Theatre on our way to the Royal Tombs.
We will then return along the same trail to the main entrance. From there, our journey takes us 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum. We will check into our campsite, where we await dinner and an evening under the starry desert sky.
