  • Day 2: Amman Hotel – Amman City Tour – Ma’in Hot Springs – Amman Hotel

Today, let’s explore Amman, the bustling capital of Jordan. Although the city was already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbat Ammon, it is modern with only a few ancient attractions that we will visit today. We will start by heading downtown to explore Citadel hill, which has remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period and a small Archaeological Museum. After that, we will visit the opposite Roman Theatre from the 2nd century, which has 6,000 seats. From here, we will take a leisurely stroll along the vibrant Souq, with its different shops and stalls. We will stop in Jabal Amman at Rainbow Street, with its charming early 20th-century houses, cafes, and restaurants. Then, we will travel for an hour to the hot springs of Ma’in. These springs and the waterfall, located 264 meters below sea level, are fed by winter rainfalls and heated by underground lava fissures up to 63°C. We will simply relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our overnight stay will be in Amman.

  • Day 3: Amman Hotel - Mt Nebo - King’s Way - Kerak Castle – Little Petra - Petra Hotel

Today, we will embark on a journey along the scenic King’s Way to Petra. The first stop will be at Mt. Nebo, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land. According to the Bible, this is the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land before he died, and it is also believed to be his burial place.

Afterwards, we will travel along the famous ancient caravan route of the King’s Way and make a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib. This is a wide valley with magnificent geological formations, identical to the Arnon River of the Hebrew Bible.

Next, we will visit the remains of the Crusader castle in Kerak. You will have the opportunity to explore the underground passageways, enjoy the view, and imagine how the forces of Salah ad-Din besieged this stronghold several times.

Before arriving at your hotel in Petra, we will stop at Little Petra. Here, you can explore small sandstone temples and tombs, which will prepare you for your visit tomorrow.

Upon arrival at the hotel, you can check in and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

    Meals: Breakfast.

  • Day 4: Petra Hotel - Petra Visit - Wadi Rum Camp

Today, we will visit Petra, a spectacular rose-rock city that is one of the World’s New Seven Wonders. Please note that the terrain is uneven, so be sure to prepare yourself accordingly. Petra is the biggest attraction in Jordan and was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabatean Arabs. These nomadic people settled in the area and created a commercial empire that extended into Syria.

We will begin by walking to the canyon known as the Siq. At the canyon’s end, you will see the most beautiful monument in Petra: the Treasury. This building rises over 40 meters and is carved into sandstone, much like most of Petra’s architecture. After seeing the Treasury, we will continue along the Street of Facades, passing by the Theatre on our way to the Royal Tombs.

We will then return along the same trail to the main entrance. From there, our journey takes us 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum. We will check into our campsite, where we await dinner and an evening under the starry desert sky.

    Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

  • Day 5: Wadi Rum Camp - Wadi Rum 3 Hours Jeep Ride - Aqaba Hotel

Join your Bedouin driver and explore the vast Wadi Rum desert in a 4×4. The rugged terrain, the shifting colours of the sand and mountains, and the peaceful environment will help you appreciate why Wadi Rum is one of the most awe-inspiring desert landscapes.

    Meals: Breakfast.

  • Day 6: Aqaba Leisure Day - Aqaba Hotel

Today is a day off to enjoy the beautiful Red Sea resort of Aqaba. You can make the most of your day by relaxing at the beach, engaging in water activities, or exploring marine life and coral reefs by diving or snorkelling. Other popular attractions include the Mamluk Fort and the archaeological site of Ayla, strolling along the beach promenade, and exploring the local markets. You will be spending the night in Aqaba.

    Meals: Breakfast.

  • Day 7: Aqaba Hotel – Dead Sea Panoramic Complex - Dead Sea Hotel

As you leave Aqaba, you can drive along the beautiful Wadi Araba Road, which has rolling, colourful mountains to the east and typical acacia trees. After driving for three hours, you will arrive at the Dead Sea. You can visit the Dead Sea Panorama Complex on top of a mountain range cliff, which offers breathtaking views of the Dead Sea. You can also enjoy a short and exciting hiking trail here. Later, you can check in to your Dead Sea hotel, where you can spend a relaxed afternoon at the lowest point on earth. You can float on the salty waters like a cork and apply the famous dark mud on your skin as well.

    Meals: Breakfast.

  • Day 8: Dead Sea Hotel - Amman Airport

We will pick you up from your hotel lobby at a pre-arranged time and drive to Amman Airport, which takes approximately one hour. Say farewell to Jordan – Ma’a Salamah!
